The wine region of Stellenbosch is situated 50km east of Cape Town. It is home to the historic town of Stellenbosch (which dates back to 1679) and the world-famous University of Stellenbosch. This region is the second oldest wine region in South Africa and is set in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

Paarl is renowned for its scenic beauty, viticulture and fruit growing. Situated 60km north east of Cape town, it is an extremely important wine region in South Africa. Paarl enjoys a warm climate with a Mediterranean influence and has a mix of sandy, granite and shale soils.
These factors coupled with the aspect of the Simonsberg Mountain provide great growing conditions for the Shiraz grape. This results in wines of great individuality and character.
